Initial
Office Visit:
The initial office visit includes a review of
your medical history, any allergies you may have
and what medications you are currently taking,
along with an examination of your feet and ankles.
Once the diagnosis is determined, the doctor will
discuss your care with you. You may require a
program of conservative care, or the design of
custom-crafted prescription shoe inserts. These
are called "orthotics. "If you need
surgery, it will be performed in the office or
hospital, depending on the type and duration.

foot surgery, modern laser surgery, which uses
a highly concentrated beam of light to perform
the necessary procedures, and Endoscopic Plantar
Fasciotomy, the newest surgical technique in addressing
